Spike Lee shows off his Nike Air Foamposite One “Knicks”sneakers via his Twitter! The shoes feature a Knicks like colorway with Spike’s “Mars Blackmon” logos on the back heels. Be on the lookout for Spike Lee to be rocking these court-side during the next Knicks game, we hope!

Set for release as part of the Kobe VII “Predator Pack” is the ‘real’ Cheetah kicks! We gave you a teaser look at these Nike Zoom Kobe VII “Cheetah” sneakers a few months back and today we have a first look at the full shoes. Featuring a clean Black and Orange Cheetah print upper along with Black, White and Grey accents finished off with the Cheetah logo on the back heel. You can look for these to release on August 25th, 2012 priced at $140.

Since the sneaker game has gotten out of hand per-say Nike Store locations are gearing up to release their kicks via a Twitter RSVP Release System! All the details can be seen below and aside from this new way of releasing shoes for NikeStore’s, Nike has also banned in-store midnight releases and pre-orders for retailers and suggested that retailers do a raffle type launch to cut down on the campouts and make things a bit more safe for everyone. Nike Store Launches – Twitter RSVP 

Twitter RSVP is used to help manage product launches at Nike Stores. Follow your local Nike Store on Twitter for launch announcements and frequent updates.

The Twitter RSVP Process:

• On the RSVP date, our store will send a tweet at a random time to begin our Twitter RSVP process, including a product specific hashtag (#tag).
• Once registration is open, you must Direct Message(“DM”) the store within 60 minutes. The DM must include:
  1. The product-specific #tag tweeted by the store
  2. The last 4 digits of your State/Passport/Military/School ID number
  3. Your shoe size (limit one).
• Confirmations from the store will be sent via DM to those who have successfully secured their requested size.  Shoes will be awarded on a “first respond, first serve” basis.
• Confirmed recipients must pick up their product (in person w/ identification) from the store on the day of launch. Unclaimed product will be announced on Twitter and will be re-released at the store’s discretion.

How do you properly RSVP through DM? Here’s an example:

The Air Jordan 4 “CAVS” which was originally dubbed the Knicks colorway hit’s the net again in detail! These kicks are inspired by the HWC Cleveland Cavaliers uniform and the famous Craig Ehlo shot that MJ hit during the 1989 NBA Playoffs. After a look at the Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement Nubuck Sample several months back, we now have another set of detailed images to share with you! These kicks take on the classic colorway of Black/Cement with the exception of these kicks using a Nubuck base. If your interested in these you can check them out now from depeche23mode on eBay!

After heading to New York from Florida and hitting 21 Mercer for a Bespoke appointment along side friends Steven Pinkerton and Geoff Miller, Jason Curtin had a meaningful inspiration in mind for his Bespoke! Jason decided to do his AF1 Bespoke after his late Grandfather “Bone Rack” who was a well decorated Marine in action during WWII and who was awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart among other medals. With that being said he wanted to incorporate the Silver Star and Purple Heart into his Bespoke along with Marine uniform colors. Jason hit his Bespoke with a suede reverse Navy Blue leather toe and a dark denim covering the mid panels and heel along with a water proof denim on the lace panels, tongue and liner as well as a frayed Swoosh underlay. These also sport some nice touches including special “Bone Rack” and “Purple Heart” Purple dubrae’s, a Silver Star lasered in on the heel tabs, a Red suede strip on the heel representing a Marines pants and Purple leather insoles while a Gum sole with Purple pods wraps these up! With 2011 coming to a close we thought it would be a good time to share our Top 10 Sneakers of 2011! Steering away from the hype our list may be a bit different from many sneaker fans lists however these are what we feel are the 10 best sneakers of the year.

#10: Maharam x Nike Blazer AB Mid TZ Pack
We feel this was a slept on shoe which brings a clean look to the Blazer with the ‘All Court’ toe cap and corduroy appeal! The overall look of the Blazer AB is a good look but when these Maharam Blazer AB’s hit the scene we felt it couldn’t get much better.

#09: Nike Huarache Free Run QS
A classic shoe with some updated technology! Who couldn’t like this shoe?! Not only is it super comfortable but it’s a sleek looking sneaker on foot as well. In the eyes of most Huarache fans this was a great release for 2011!

#08: LDRS 1354 x adidas Forum Moccasin Mid
When we saw the images of these Leaders x adidas Fourm Moccasin Mid’s we knew it was a must have! How could you go wrong with a all Red sneaker covered in some of the softest leather we’ve seen on any shoe, finished off with a light Gum bottom. Thank you Regular Ol Ty!

#07: Kobe x Nike SB Koston 1
While we couldn’t get our hands on the limited pair the GR release did just fine. One of the most comfortable Nike SB’s we have ever tried on along with a nice colorway that’s why these landed at #7 on our Top 10 list.

#06: Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium QS “É Possivel”
Black on Gum what else do we need to say?… The detailing on these Forces is nice and the simple colorway is just enough to keep people looking while on foot, these were one of the cleanest pair of AF1′s to hit retail in our eyes which is why they rank high on our Top 10 shoes of 2011.

#05: Nike Free Run+ 2 QS “City Pack”
The Nike Free Run 2 is one of our favorite new releases of the year and when the “City Pack” hit the net we fell in love. This pack includes sneakers that represent the following cities Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, NYC, Tokyo and London each taking on a crisp upper and speckled Free soles. It was hard ranking these at #5 these are surly one of the best packs of 2011.

#04: Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement
The Air Jordan 3 is our all time favorite shoe so we had to put it in our top 10 of 2011! What’s not to like about these classics inspired by the OG Black/Cement colorway? If this was 2001 these would have been ranked #1!

#03: Concepts x New Balance 999 “The Kennedy”
If you own these kicks you know why these found a high ranking spot in our Top 10! One word Amazing!!

#02: Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka Motion “Leopard”
The Nike Air Footscape is a shoe that stays under the radar and usually is only a Japanese release. This pair taking on a Leopard print fur upper is a sure winner although some of you may not recognize these as Nike’s they are defiantly a head turner!

#01: Nike Trainer 1.3 Mid Shield “Rivalry” Pack
This pack is absolutely jaw dropping! Everything from the materials, the 3M swooshes, the comfort and special team detailing this is one sick pack! Although we wish some Florida team would have been included these still took our #1 spot. Thank you Nike for releasing these, and at a decent price!

We recently gave you a look at a pair of Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke’s by Steven Pinkerton who’s friend Geoff Miller was at 21 Mercer during the same visit to dress up a pair of AF1 Bespoke’s of his own! Geoff gives us a first look at his Bespoke which by the way is the first pair of Nike Air Force 1′s he’s owned, talk about stepping into the Force game right Geoff did just that. Taking inspiration from his car, Geoff hit his Bespoke with a clean refreshing look using a Dark Grey patent leather base with a Grey reverse perforated leather toe which features a 3M underlay allowing these kicks to get their shine on! Aside from that Geoff used a reverse Blue nubuck on the Swoosh and a White leather under Swoosh while a Metallic Silver patent leather tongue hits nice with the Grey perforated leather guts and 3M detailing on the lace loop and back heel stay. To complete the overall look of these kicks a Milk sole was placed underneath. Be sure to check the detailed look below and let us know your thoughts?

After waiting a mere six weeks Steven Pinkerton received his third Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke and gives us the first look! After designing a clean and simple Bespoke (Cookie Monsters) and a inspired Bespoke (Lux Bison) he decided to run a little wild for round three. There’s no true inspiration on this shoe Steven just walked in 21 Mercer clear minded and hit this Bespoke with a Maharam digital camo tip, toe box and eye stay followed by a reverse Loden nubuck tongue, Swoosh and heel tab with a White perforated leather that wraps around the back of the shoe with a Loden canvas underlay. Just when you think the shoe is done Steven decided to place a perforated Loden lenticular with a White leather underlay covering the quarter panel behind the Swoosh all sitting overtop a full Gum sole. After having no design idea in mind we think this shoe came out outstanding! What are your thoughts on these Bespokes?

Yesterday the Air Jordan 3 “Denim” sneakers hit the net and not much was known about the shoes, today we have some new images and some background info to share with you! These kicks are apparently a Sample from 2009 that never made it to production. The shoes were spotted by Sole Collector on the feet of Astor Chambers who at the time was Jordan Brand’s Footwear Business Director. Astor Chambers wore the shoes at the Quai 54 tournament and was working on some new looks for classics which is where the Denim AJ 3′s come from. With that being said it’s not looking good for a release of the shoes however it’s nice to get a few extra shots of them!
