If you remember just about a year ago, Ex-Nike employee Kyle Yamaguchi and his partner were involved in stealing Nike samples and reselling them for stacks. Well it looks like Yamaguchi has received his sentence, which tallies up to five years of probation and 50 hours of voluntary community service. Yamaguchi was facing 5 years in prison however his cooperation with the government reduced his sentence.
According to The Oregonian, Yamaguchi told federal authorities everything he did as well as gave them a binder full of evidence, made a PowerPoint presentation showing his illegal activity and even wore a wire during a sneaker transaction to help bust Jason Keating, who is a sneaker seller dealing with PE and sample LeBron’s.
Keating and Tung Ho, who both plead not guilty are set for trial on April 21.
