After heading to New York from Florida and hitting 21 Mercer for a Bespoke appointment along side friends Steven Pinkerton and Geoff Miller, Jason Curtin had a meaningful inspiration in mind for his Bespoke! Jason decided to do his AF1 Bespoke after his late Grandfather “Bone Rack” who was a well decorated Marine in action during WWII and who was awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart among other medals. With that being said he wanted to incorporate the Silver Star and Purple Heart into his Bespoke along with Marine uniform colors. Jason hit his Bespoke with a suede reverse Navy Blue leather toe and a dark denim covering the mid panels and heel along with a water proof denim on the lace panels, tongue and liner as well as a frayed Swoosh underlay. These also sport some nice touches including special “Bone Rack” and “Purple Heart” Purple dubrae’s, a Silver Star lasered in on the heel tabs, a Red suede strip on the heel representing a Marines pants and Purple leather insoles while a Gum sole with Purple pods wraps these up! Check the images below for a detailed look at these “Bone Rack” Bespokes!
