SBTG is back with yet another awesome collab, this time linking up with Overkill on a pair of Converse Chuck Taylors!
Inspired by the director Stanley Kubrick of FULL METAL JACKET, the “ BORN TO KILL “ collab presents the struggle within the soldier’s mind.
During the battle journey , soldiers scrawled graffiti on their helmets as a statement.
Some wrote a girlfriend’s name, or their city or states, and very common were jokes and slogans such as :- “We the unwilling; led by the unqualified, are doing the impossible, for the ungrateful!”
- “Ye though I walk thru the valley of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am the eviliest son of bitch in the valley!”
The SBTG x Overkill collab uses patches and a camouflage zipper on a Converse canvas, with bullet prints as a poignant reminder of war.
